Who made this
Six small feet. Always wet.
Hi. I'm Tyler. I have triplets, and we live outside Portland, where it rains most of the year. If you've ever carried a kid home in soaked socks, I've been there. A lot.
I wanted shoes that let them walk like they were barefoot and could also handle a puddle. The barefoot-style sock shoes soaked through by the end of the driveway. Rain boots were stiff, heavy, and had a heel in them for some reason. It was always one or the other.
I couldn't find both in one shoe, so I made these: a stretchy upper you pull on like a sock, a water-resistant membrane, and a thin, grippy sole. Zero drop, and room for toes.
I'm not a foot doctor and I'm not going to pretend to be. I'm a dad who got tired of wet socks.
It's a small brand. When you email, it comes to me. If something's off with your pair, write to hello@meriweatherboot.com and I'll make it right.
